We are looking for a sitter for our large family home (with a swimming pool, although it will be closed at this time) on the outskirts of Bristol, while we go on holiday for two weeks. We have a lovely wirehaired Vizsla as well as a very low-maintenance gecko. Our dog is epileptic but the condition is under control with medication and it rarely affects her living a happy life.
Our grade 2 listed house has plenty of room inside, including a guest room with en suite for sitters and a small gym, and outside there is a large garden including a pool, hot tub and treehouse!
While we are away the pool will need monitoring and the lawn mowing.
This was such a lovely housesit. Ric and Emily were so responsive and left really clear instructions on how to look after the place. Pan is a gorgeous dog who was excellent company - I would go back in a heartbeat!
Ric and his family made me very welcome; their young dog was adorable and very well behaved. They left clear and detailed guidance to make the sit stress free and the house was extremely comfortable. I can highly recommend sitting for them.
House sitting is a fun, immersive way to experience this magnificent country - without paying a cent for accommodation!
