Wotton Under Edge England

This is a 3 bedroom cottage (with a separate self contained studio appartment) on a mostly quiet country lane but less than 10 minutes walk from the friendly town of Wotton Under Edge with it's many amenities and close to endless miles and choices for country walks, including the Cotswold Way.

There is a pretty patio area outside the kitchen/dining area which is good for sunbathing, birdwatching and drying things quickly in warm weather.

There is also a larger garden- up some steps which has a summer house, a large trampoline and impressive views of quintessential England! All in all there are 3 seating/patio/decking areas, two are with tables, chairs, parasols and views, generally there is plenty of outdoor furniture and outdoor cooking facilities (in Summer house)

All our bedrooms have comfy double and king-size beds and are en-suite.

The kitchen has all the usual stuff and there is a very large dining table. Wifi is everywhere including in the studio and there are plenty of work space options. There is a large smart TV in the lounge, with streaming apps and a wood burner for chilly nights.

Bristol, Stroud, Bath , Tetbury are all within easy reach, train stations 15 mins (for Bristol and Gloucester) and 25 mins away (for a short journey to London). There is parking for 2 cars next to the house.

There's a good choice of National Trust places-including one within walking distance-if you're fit, that is Newark Park (Tudor Hunting Lodge and grounds)

There are two 8 month old kittens to care for/keep an eye on. They will be easy to care for as they just need someone to be there, some cuddles and feeding.

There will be some watering of large garden pots (which is important. even if it's been raining) but it's not too strenuous.

All in all it is a good place for being quiet and relaxing, soaking up the country vibe but not having to get in the car to see people and go shopping-there is even a small cinema here. There is also potential for lots of days out if needed.
