SUMMER IN HOLMFIRTH!!

We are looking for a responsible, dog- loving person, couple or family to take care of our adorable French bulldog,Tommy while we are away in the summer. We have a beautifully situated 2 bedroomed terraced house in Holmfirth, in walking distance of the town centre with stunning views. Tommy requires minimal exercise but enjoys a long walk or a car ride and going anywhere you go. He can be left on his own in the house but is very cuddly and loving and would rather be with you! We would appreciate the pots in the garden being watered and the bins put out whilst we are away.
We would want non- smokers and while we would want you to feel at home, we would not want parties or additional overnight guests.
Holmfirth is a popular tourist spot situated in the Holme Valley. There are lots of lovely coffee shops, restaurants and quaint and quirky individual shops. In the heart of Last of the Summer Wine country, there are some stunning local walks and views on the doorstep. Please note - this is a different house than the one mentioned in the first review - there is parking!

Tommy is a most adorable dog. He is so loving and gentle. He walks well and is comfortable in all environments. Holmfirth is a wonderful town with lots to see and do. There are some lovely walks on the doorstep. Anna was very welcoming and left us a nice welcome pack. Communication was good, we kept each other informed before and throughout the stay. We miss Tommy and wouldn’t hesitate to look after him again. Phil & Karen.

This was our second house sit for Anna, looking after Tommy, and it was just as wonderful as the first time! Tommy is a joy to be around, both at home and on walks. The house is close to the Peak District, with beautiful nature, stunning views, and fantastic walks – some starting right from the doorstep! We had a fantastic time in Holmfirth with Tommy. He is a delightful, affectionate, and intelligent dog, making for easy and enjoyable company. We took him on many lovely local walks, including three-hour hikes, and he was still full of energy afterward. Two lovely French French Bulldogs Tommy and Bruce. Anna was very easy to communicate with and the dogs were great fun, loved their walks and cuddles. Thank you Anna for choosing us.
