We need a house sitter

North West - Lancashire

We live in Singleton which is a very small village 4 miles outside Blackpool and 10 miles to Preston. Singleton has a local pub and a regular bus service.
We are going away for 8 days in May.
Our home is a 16th century 2 bed cottage which was fully modernised 10 years ago and a very big garden which is home to our 3 pygmy goats and a handful of chickens. Our feathered friends can look after themselves but our 3 goats need feeding twice per day and regular fresh water. The goats will take 10 minutes of your day twice per day.
We do not expect you to muck anything out.
We also have 3 dogs which require feeding and walking daily and of course your company please.

We had a lovely stay at Anne-Maries cute and cozy cottage. The dogs we cared for, Jake and Jenna, were a delight. Jake - a quiet gentleman happy to cozy up on the sofa in between walks. Jenna = a bundle of fun who will brighten anyone's day. We enjoyed the garden which had everything. Seating and dining area, a bar and beyond that pygmy goats [very amusing] chickens, ducks and a peacock! We found ourselves looking after several animals besides 3 dogs - who were lovely and great fun to be with-we had 3 goats, 2 ducks, a peacock, doves and chickens.to look after. Ann Marie was always available if needed and kept in contact with us to ensure everything was ok.

I had a lovely time at this house sit. The animals were a dream, 3 dogs with fabulous character. 3 Pigmy Goats and some Silkie Chickens and a Goose. The owners were lovely too. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend this house sit to anyone considering it. Anna-Marie's cottage is lovely, the garden is absolutely stunning and all set in a beautiful, peaceful village which is a short drive from local amenities. The 3 dogs are very friendly and lots of fun, my 8 year old absolutely loved being with them. She also really liked the goats and bottle feeding the kid, as well as collecting eggs from the hens.
