Cardiff Wales

We live just outside of Cardiff, in the lovely Roath area. Very close to the train to pop into the city or lots of close by walks and things to see.
We would be asking you to take care of our two ducks - Hoddle and Waddle. They live outside, contained in our garden. They aren’t too much trouble but do require some particulars and lots of treats!
In the winter months we let them out about 8/9am - watering/feeding and a splash in their pool!
They do like a roam and play in the garden but we tend not to leave them totally unaccompanied, so do this when at home. However they have a suitable run to be popped in, should you wish to go out for the day.
They are put to bed around 8.30/9.30pm.
They will generally need a hose down of the run a couple of times/ and possibly scooping poop in their house/fresh straw. The main job is making sure they have clean water each day to bathe.
It will require someone who is fairly agile on feet, as our garden and their set up has steps and if wet, the garden can get muddy quickly! It can be grubby work but they are fun little pair and will make you laugh during your stay!

They do like company and very nosey when pottering in the garden, so for anyone who likes being outside they will be happy to join you!

Our home is hopefully very welcoming - for individuals or families. Sleeping up to 8 max. We would not accept dogs due to the ducks but other pets will be considered.
