Two week house sit in rural Northumberland - Dark Skies - National Park

Stay in one of our comfy Holiday Cottages for two weeks dates are flexible if you are unable to do the exact dates.

Looking after our Chickens, Ducks and Geese

- Car Essential
- Wet Weather Gear - Wellington Boots and Rain Coat
- Couples preferred.

We have a farm, with a seperate holiday cottage in Northumberland, 30 miles from Newcastle and 27 Miles from Hexham. Nearly 12 acres of land, river access, in Northumberland just opposite the national park and Dark Skies.

Looking for a house sitter/pet sitter, living in one of our fully furnished holiday cottages and looking after our chickens, ducks and geese, approx 33 in total. Feeding, letting out in the morning and putting away at night, cleaning once a week.

This was one of our favourite sits to date. Sam & Taz made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived, showing us the ropes and introducing us to their awesome animals. All the birds had different characters, and it was such a pleasure getting to know all the chickens, geese and ducks during our time there. The cottage we stayed in was beautiful, and had everything to make us feel at home. A particular treat was the starry skies, and the incredible rural location. Couldn't recommend ... MORE

Sam and Taz were great. They gave me an excellent handover and plenty of support. Their farmhouse is absolutely gorgeous, the cottage where I stayed beautiful and the surrounding area just stunning. Looking after the ducks, chickens and geese while they were away was a real pleasure and I learned a lot too! All in all, it was a fantastic experience and I can't recommend them highly enough. Thanks!
