Hello, we are looking for housesitters to take care of our 4 years old cat Matcha for 2 weeks. Our home is a 2 bed flat over two floors, with garden, and can accommodate one person or a couple (the second room is a store room for our personal belongings and won't be available).

The flat is located in Islington, about 15 minutes walk from Kings X station and a few minutes away from Granary square.

Wonderful experience. Romain and Camille were very welcoming and helpful when we arrived at their home in Islington. They made sure we had everything we needed and even left us some delicious veggies. Matcha, their cat, was a bit shy at first but soon warmed up to us She loves a treat and if you win her over she'll come and find you for cuddles. Gemma & I had a really nice week at Camille's house. Matcha was outside most of the time which meant it was very low maintenance & relaxed Camille was friendly & quick to respond to any messages. The house has a brilliant, large kitchen and it's located only 10mins from King Cross (so central for London). I was abroad when the House Sit & details were confirmed therefore I was unable to visit to discuss relevant details until a few days prior to my arrival, when I went to meet Camille to collect the keys & to meet Matcha. The property is actually on 3 levels within a gated development, plus easy access to transport facilities. Many thanks to Camille and her family for welcoming me into their home to care for sweet Matcha. Matcha is an independent cat, but I loved seeing her when she came in for dinner. I have absolutely no complaints about the home, it was very comfortable and a great base to explore London from. Communication was always a breeze. I would return without hesitation.

This is a lovely house in a great location close to Kings Cross. Matcha the cat is very cute, mostly does his own thing, popping in for food and a cuddle before heading out on adventures again. Camille & Romain were very helpful & flexible with the sit arrangements and very quick to respond to any questions I had. I would highly recommend sitting here :)

I had a wonderful stay at Camille and Romain’s flat, looking after their gorgeous cat Matcha. She was wonderful company, but also very self sufficient and easy to care for. The flat is very comfortable and in a great location, just a short walk to King’s Cross, many shops and Granary Square, which is a great place to relax. Camille and Romain have been very friendly, accommodating and helpful. It was great to meet them before the sit began. I would love to look after Matcha again in the future ... MORE

I spend 12 days looking after Matcha. I must admit that she is a unusual cat. I have never met any cat alike her. She always says hello first and look at your eyes when she enter the house or a room, never jumps on the tables which are two downstairs, she doesn't have any litter box, she is graceful, independent, goes out and comes back as she likes, she has a cat flap and her own fountain, she never bothers you but can sit next to you. Camille & Romain have a lovely, tastefully renovated flat in Islington where we were lucky enough to stay for 5 days. The flat is very conveniently located for travel into and around London and is well equipped. Their cat Matcha was very easygoing and a pleasure to take care of. We had no problems with this house sit and would be pleased to sit for Matcha again if the need arises in the future.
