Yorkshire and the Humber - West Yorkshire

We’re looking for a housesitter(s) to look after our house and pets while we are on holiday. We have an 11-year old Cocker Spaniel (Daisy), a 1-year old Border Collie (Ivy) and a 15-year old cat (Thistle).
We live in the beautiful village of Holme, just in the edge of the Peak District. Our house is a 3-bed detached barn-conversion with a kitchen, two bathrooms, two living rooms and a garden.
On the ground floor there is a double-bedroom, single bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room. Upstairs is another double-bedroom, bathroom, sitting room and office space. We have a small garden outside with a sitting area and there is free parking available outside. We have good wi-fi and Amazon subscription for the television.
When you’re ready to explore, our charming village of Holme and the nearby area is filled with delicious eateries from friendly pubs to well-established restaurants, ideal for when you fancy a night away from the kitchen.
This area is a hotspot for walkers, cyclists and wildlife lovers, with the Digley, Ramsden, Woodhead and Torside reservoirs nearby, as well as easy access to the Peak District and Hope Valley via Woodhead Pass and Glossop.
The nearby town of Holmfirth, well-known for being the home to the characters of the TV series Last of the Summer Wine, is often bustling with the many independent shops, coffee shops, bars and restaurants available.
Further afield, the cities of Manchester and Leeds are easily reachable by car or public transport. The village itself has a dependable but hourly bus service to Holmfirth and Huddersfield
