Wow! Grateful Thanks to Jane!🙏🌺💜 who had prepared a fine dining, gourmet, vegan meal for my arrival at Comberton! I was truly blessed and welcomed, a gin and tonic to if I'd wanted!! Meeting the lovely Bella, Vega and Tiger the most affectionate cat, was another warm welcome! The village folk very friendly and helpful helped me to navigate my way around and the dogs and I enjoyed lovely springtime walks each day along to the common with the blossoms vibrant on the hedge rows it was magic! ... Jane very kindly took me into Cambridge to catch the bus to the next sit, again gratitude Jane! Then to top it off I'd left my phone at Jane's, putting it down to put my shoes on, then ensued a marathon admin task for Jane to get it to me at my next sit! Comberton, a charming Cambridge village, exudes friendliness, with Jane and her family standing out as beloved locals. Upon my arrival for a housesit, Jane warmly greeted me with a lovely meal and wine, followed by breakfast the next morning. We enjoyed a pleasant walk with the dogs, tended to the chickens and cat, and then Jane departed for her trip. Despite the brevity of the five-day stay, it proved to be a rejuvenating and enjoyable experience all round.
