We need a house sitter

South East - West Sussex

Lionel

I'm looking for someone to look after my house, beautiful husky and 2 cats while I'm away for a short city break. I would prefer a house sitter to arrive the day before (18 Jan) as I'll be leaving in the morning of the 19th and this way you can get familiar with the animals and area first, I like the personal touch and prefer to meet the person staying before I leave. Arriving back late night of 22 Jan)

The dog will need two good walks each day and a quick lunchtime or late night wewe outing, and would be great if the person can spent time on a bit of play with the cats too.

It's a lovely home and the room offered is en suite, and of course fresh bedding, towels and showergel/handwash etc.

There is good broadband with wifi through the house and I have Netflix and Prime on the TV.

Easy access to main South Coast rail station, a 5 minute walk and its one stop to the beach, Chichester and Arundel and not far by train or car to Portsmouth and Brighton, There is lots of green space with nice walks right from the house and just a few minutes to the South Down Natonal Park.

The house is warm and comfortable in a peaceful modern estate close to amenities. Host Lionel is very hospitable and friendly with good communication, and even picked us up from the station. Apollo the male cat is super communucative with a cute voice and personality. He always comes if you call him, both at home and outdoors (amazing for a cat!). Asha, Summer & Apollo are such wonderful animals, all three gentle, calm & loving, really comfortable in each others company. Asha & I walked for hours each day, exploring all the paths & non-paths for miles around, frequently getting lost but always having fun & finding our way home. She's so obedient & well-behaved, ever by your side & never any problem, even in the face of running deer or feisty dogs. We loved staying at Lionel’s place and taking care of Asha, Summer and Apollo. The house is very beautiful and comfortable and in a very nice area. We really enjoyed taking Asha out for walks in nature. She is super calm and adorable. The cats are wondeful, super friendly and cuddly. They are all very easy going. Lionel is also very kind and fun to be around. He is also very helpful and showed us around. We really enjoyed our time with all of them and miss them so much.

We had a great weekend looking after Asha, Summer and Apollo. All three are very friendly and welcomed us at the door - along with Lionel. Nice house with great guest room and ensuite, good instructions from Lionel, and easy pets to care for. Asha loves a leisurely walk especially on the beach. I really enjoyed my house sitting for Asha, Apollo and Summer. They are all well behaved and it was a pleasure to spend my time with them. The house is also very lovely, the communication with Lionel was great and the area is full of sheep, donkeys and horses.

This has been a lovely sit. Asha, Summer and Apollo are absolutely gorgeous and their very kind dad left me excellent notes and also gave me a good handover before leaving.
