Llanelli Wales

My boys and I recently moved from Frome to a village called Gorslas, near Llanelli in South Wales. Gorslas is about 30 mins drive from the city of Swansea, 20 mins from Llanelli and 15 mins from Carmarthen.

There is beautiful countryside around the area, and great country parks and local walks to take the boys. The fabulous beaches - South Wales and the Gower coast - this area is famous for are 30-60 mins drive away, depending which you chose to visit. Although not essential as shops are very close by, it would be helpful to have use of a car if you intend to visit more of the area whilst here. I'm afraid I will need my car so I’m unable to offer its use while I’m away. There are buses which stop on this road and can take you into Llanelli or Carmarthen if you don’t have use of a car, but they are slow buses which go through all the villages first. I prefer to be straight with people and let you know how it is.

The house I’m renting at present is a lovely home, with a very large kitchen/dining/sitting room leading out onto a pretty garden.
You will have a spacious double bedroom overlooking the garden with sole use of a large bathroom with bath and shower. There is a separate study available on the ground floor if you need to work from home.

The rear garden requires little attention, if you feel like putting the mower over to keep it tidy I’d be grateful, but no problem if you'd rather not.

My dogs are an 9yr old Lab called Barney and a 10yr old half Lab/cross called Alfie. Alfie sadly went blind almost 3 years ago, but manages extremely well, even when off-leash in safe walking areas. Most people don’t realise he is blind until I point it out to them.
Both dogs are very well-behaved and once they’ve had their morning and afternoon/eve walk are happy to sit around and sleep the rest of the day. They live and sleep downstairs and are not allowed upstairs. They are so used to this they don’t even try.

I’d prefer to find an experienced couple if possible, with past experience and good reviews to care of my boys and home, and give me peace of mind while I'm away. I’m a very clean and tidy person so you’ll be coming to a house that’s a pleasure to live in and only requires the usual daily upkeep while you’re here.
