We need a house sitter

South West - Somerset

Liz

Hello, we are looking for someone to look after our 5.5 year old Jack Russell-cross-Whippet, Ozzy, and our home, whilst we are away for Christmas to visit family in Philadelphia.
Spacious (1930’s) 3 bed semi-detached home, in a quiet location, on the edge of the village of Curry Rivel, near Langport, Somerset.
Lots of walks from the house and good amenities in the village, pub, shop, post office, petrol station.
And lots more in Langport just 2 miles away.
Ozzy is a very loving boy and well behaved.
We run our business from home so he is used to someone being here a lot of the time and he loves the company!
The sit is for 3 weeks + 2 days and we are very aware it is over Christmas so there is an option which can be discussed for him to go into the local kennels (which he loves) for part of the sit if required (before/during/after) happy to discuss.

Once again, Liz and Ed were helpfulness and kindness personified- and it was wonderful to be back with the smart, funny Ozzy. Lovely walks to be had again, and - at Ozzy’s insistence ; ) incorporated a lot more ball lobbing. Boy is he fast. So many, thanks to all 3 of you again for a lovely sit. As the rain comes down, I miss being by the wood burner in the cosy house, but above all The Boy. Cannot recommend all of you enough….!

Liz and Ed are super - really clear communications and instructions, and they really couldn't have been more helpful or kinder. The place is perfect for circuits of country walks (with both hills and The Levels), two coasts aren't far - but the star is Ozzy. Smart, elegant, fun and funny - and sooo well trained with it. Well done guys. We covered a lot of miles - and I will miss him a lot. So thanks to Liz and Ed for all their help, and Oz...
