Windsor England

We loved staying at Michael's Home and taking care of the beautiful Milo and Loofee. They are both the best natured dogs you can ask for, both loving a good walk and well behaved in the home and lots of snuggles on the sofa. We found lots of good walks on the Thames river bank and surrounding areas. Michael and Anna's home is lovely with a good little sunspot in the back garden to enjoy the summer evenings. We had a great weekend in Michael and Anna’s very comfortable home in Old Windsor. It’s really well located for walks along the Thames Path and in Windsor Park. Michael gave us lots of information before we arrived and was happy to be contacted before and during the sit if we had any questions. Milo and Luffee were easy to look after around the house and were both very friendly, gentle and affectionate – and keen to curl up with us on the sofa! Milo is a strong and energetic dog, so it’s good that Michael says this sit is best suited to couples. He has very good recall when off the lead, and loves chasing his ball, so we had really good fun with him on walks.

We had a great time with Milo and Luffee. They are such affectionate and loving dogs it's easy to get a constant supply of cuddles! They do need firm boundaries when on walks, but Milo is very good off-lead and will stay close if you're in a field with him (e.g. in Runnymede) and throwing sticks. We were supplied with an easy-to-read, informative guide. The surrounding area has some stunning scenery. Recommend the walk along the riverside to Runnymede with the lovely dogs. The house is ... Wife Cynthia and I thoroughly enjoyed caring for Milo and Lufee. Both were affectionate and always up for our daily walks. The house was perfectly situated for visiting some of England’s best sights. Windsor Castle and Windsor Great Park were just 15 minutes away by bus. The scenic Thames was blocks from the house. We took the dogs walking along the river every day. This was a great pet/house sit. We had good communications with Michael and the arrangements were clear. Luffey and Milo are delightful dogs who absolutely love their walks and are a pleasure to walk and care for. The house and facilities were great and what an opportunity do the walks in the area, including the Thames footpath and Windsor Great Park which are on the door step.

John & I loved housesitting mighty Milo and lovely Luffie. Very affectionate and they definitely loved going for walks - some funny moments when you have a beagle in the house who has a nose on her for investigating all things. Michael was great for communication for all we needed while staying and settling in with the dogs. What a great area to walk and explore in the height of summer. We enjoyed caring for Milo and Lufee. They are very loving and loyal dogs. Their enthusiasm for their walks has to be seen to be believed and we discovered beautiful walks along the Thames including views of Windsor Castle. Great sightings also of planes, and all was quiet at night.The house is was very comfortable for our stay. We met Anna who is very kind and had good communication from Michael.
