Hi. I'm Annette. I love dogs (especially Labradors), cats, chickens and Guinea pigs! I had quite a menagerie for nearly twenty years, including geese, ducks and sheep amongst others, before a recent move back to England and a smaller property where I don't have room for lots of animals. I love long walks in the countryside and on the beach and keeping busy.
I like to be involved in my local community and volunteer for two charities. One is a food waste charity supporting the homeless and anyone in need through redistribution of food, a community supermarket and a meal on the streets which I help to run. I am Secretary and a Trustee of the RAF Association, Bedford Branch, supporting Veterans and their families in the local area.
I am clean and tidy and would look after your home like it's my own as well as making sure that your pets are loved and cared for in your absence.
I work as a lecturer at a local college so am restricted to weekends and school holidays for house sitting.

We were delighted to have Annette to house sit for us. Annette is clearly very experienced at looking after diverse pets and houses and was not fazed by anything and was happy just to get on with it. She sussed our cats and their individual personalities out very quickly, so they made a good friend there, Annette was also an excellent communicator, so we were very confident that she would let us know if there were any issues. My super sensitive little tiger sensed Annette's gentle patient nature and took to her instantly so there is a glowing endorsement from a tricky customer! I can tell that both cats were well loved and cared for in my abscence. Communication was great and clear throughout, instructions listened to and followed sensitively and Annette was very understanding of our particular needs and quirks! Really felt good leaving our pets with Annette. We got on really well on the phone before hand and she was careful to hear my concerns and instructions. She left the house cleaned and the pets were well cared for. Couldn't have asked for more and I'd have her back anytime!
