I've done quite a few house sits through this web site and I have also house sat for friends and can supply references. The house sits included looking after a variety of animals from lizards to geese. I don't have any pets myself, but I always enjoy spending time with other people's animals - or doing some gardening.

I generally prefer house sits no longer than 4-5 days and within 70 miles of Manchester, although I'd also be interested in coming to London to visit my niece. And I don't usually arrange a house sit more than 3-4 weeks in advance.

Teresa double checked things about our cat, Dylan, and practical issues around the home. I felt that our cat would be well looked after. Only draw back as that it felt a bit rushed letting Teresa know about everything as not longer after her arrival we had to leave for our train. However, I had communicated by email prior to this. We hope that Teresa enjoyed her stay and she would be welcome back to look after Dylan should we go away in the future.

Teresa is absolutely reliable and concientious house sitter, she looked after our high needs cat with care and dedication. She is quiet and left our property exactly as we found it. I would recomend her as a trustworthy and responsible cat sitter.

As fate would have it, Teresa and I never met. I had a sitter lined up but he pulled out the day before we left to go on holiday. Teresa stepped into the breach and saved our holiday. The house was as we left it, and the courtyard's raised beds and pot-plants had been attended to. Cats were relaxed when we got home, too. All was well. Thanks Teresa.
