Having cared for and nurtured farm animals, cows, sheep, pigs, hens and family pets, jack russells, border collies, spaniels and a pug plus cats, we are now retired and with no animals, pets or children to look after, and with time on our hands, would like to house and pet sit for other people.
Over the years we have helped out many family and friends, taking care of their pets and homes and would now like to broaden the places we visit.
We are fit and active, love the outdoors, and would like to think we are a quiet, caring and trustworthy couple that your house and pets would be safe with.
We are based in South Wales and are happy to travel anywhere, even at short notice.

Roger and Amanda are a lovely couple and outstanding Sitters and took fantastic care of Archie (our Schichon ) and our home. We received just the right level of regular photos and updates whilst we were travelling and returned to our house which was in pristine condition. We’ d thoroughly recommend Roger and Amanda to others looking for trusted sitters and very much hope that they’ll be able to sit for us again in 2025.

Roger & Amanda were great house & cat sitters. They looked after Dexter and the fish really well. The house was immaculate when we got back. We could hardly tell they had been there. Would definitely recommend them and would love to use them again in the future.

I was very anxious about going away and leaving our Siamese cat, Chico, with strangers because he’s been through quite a bit of stress recently, but Roger and Amanda put him and us at ease straight away. He really took to them and they made sure he was spoiled with attention and comfort whilst we were away. He looked really well when we got back and the house was very neat and tidy. Roger & Amanda were great housesitters who were very friendly and helpful from the start. We came back home to our well taken care of cats and a tidy and clean home, which was great. We unfortunately had to cut our holiday short by a couple of days, but they were very kind and flexible in organising our return and we were very glad they got to see some local theatre before leaving! We'd happily welcome them in our home again, and they would be wonderful housesitters for anyone.

Roger and Amanda were great. The cottage was clean and tidy when we arrived home. Our girls (the chickens) and William the cat had obviously been well cared for, which were the most important things. Their communication was great as well. Sadly they came from a long distance so we may not be able to tempt them again, but they would always be welcome in our home. Highly recommended.

Roger and Amanda did me a great favour by looking after my cat at fairly short notice, for which I am very grateful. They are a delightful couple, who gave me complete confidence. Amanda and Roger were the perfect sitters for my cat Astra. They took great care of her and gave her lots of attention and affection. As for the house, I had left it what I thought was pretty clean but Amanda and Roger took cleaning to a whole new level. The house was immaculate and they even left a pint of milk for me to have a cuppa when I got home ! I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone or indeed having them back to sit again if they were willing and able.

We were very sorry to have to return early due to illness but they were very kind and understanding. We wanted them to stay on if they wished.
