Hello!! Im Gemma, a 43 yr old single independent, friendly, responsible, nomadic, remote working project manager and traveller. In July 2024 I gave up my room in a shared house frustrated at paying a lot of money for a room in a house with 4 other people. I made the move to permanently live a nomadic lifestyle and save with the idea of getting my own place to call home, whilst experiencing different places of the globe to figure out where I wanted to lay my hat permanently. In 2024 I started to combine my love of animals and housesitting, realising I could have a pet (even if it was just temporarily) and some of my own space. I have a friends, family and local acquaintances network that for the last 6 months has kept me busy.

Now with a new life direction and emigration to Australia pending for June 2025 I am hoping for longer sits to reduce the life logistics whilst i sort the life admin for the Australian transition. I have a wealth of experience looking after a variety of dogs, from french bulldogs, american bully’s, labradors, golden retrievers, west highland terrier, whippets, shitzu and cockapoos. I also have experience with chickens, cats and understand the responsibility that comes with looking after your pets and home. I am used to administering medication as I have looked after cats and dogs in their golden years (predominantly the time of life medication becomes more regular in my experience) administering pills, probiotics, antibiotics and the odd vet visit.

I am quick to respond to any queries, often send pics of any excursions which can be socialising with other dogs, pub visits, on/off lead walks, cute cuddles and car rides. All of which I’ll double check and ensure are suitable for your pets and pooches. I am used to honouring the pets routine ensuring they are happy and comfortable when their humans are away. I am a capable and responsible individual that will be on the end of the phone and able to assist and keeping you informed of any house or pet problems should the worst happen. I will always leave the house how it is left for me, tidy, clean and outside poo picked where applicable.

I have tried to give you a snapshot of my outdoorsy, active lifestyle with my warm and bubbly personality showing through. I am more than happy to go on a wet and windy walk and will ensure your pooches and house are kept clean. I have also been a Cinnamon Trust dog walker, walking dogs for those less able or terminally ill it was a very rewarding experience and I developed good relationships with the pets and parents.
