Hello
I'm Michael.
I've been house sitting for a number of years on and off and am currently looking for a longish sit, in order to get in some time for writing and photography around UK or Europe.
Housesitting is the ideal opportunity to do this. Working in lots of "local areas" is mentally stimulating.
I'm good in a crisis (so I'm told) practical, house trained and TIDY.
I have experienced with most animals (You name it, I've probably fed it) On the whole, they seem to like me.. (Including Cats).

Mike was great - he looked after the house and our dog very well. He bathed her when she’d been digging, sorted our broadband and mended the hoover - thank you!!!

This was our first use of a sitter and we couldn't have asked for a better experience with Michael, great communication, punctual, very clean and tidy, garden well looked after and no issues at all! Would highly recommend!

I was so lucky that Michael was able to come and sit on such a short notice. After literally contacting over 50 people on this site without success, I thought I would try Michael, although he lookss for longer sits normally. Luckily he agreed. The house was really tidy on my return and the animals were relaxed and happy. Michael also fixed a few little things jobs around the house, which is much appreciated. Pleased to meet Michael and have him look after our house while we were away. He was not fazed by our off grid heating system and we felt confident he would take care of the property and garden. House was very clean and tidy on our return. Would happily request him to sit again.
