We are Simon (a retired police officer with over 30 years service, having been retired for the last 12 years) and Beverley (a retired secondary school secretary) with an 18 year old daughter, Mia, who is currently in college. We are animal lovers and have had several pets throughout our own childhoods and beyond although we don't keep our own now as we have decided to travel and see a little more of the UK.
We are a conscientious and caring family who live in a gorgeous location overlooking the sea in Kent but enjoy exploring different areas during the college holidays. We also enjoy spending time in our garden so any gardening requirements are on our tick list.
We particularly enjoy culture and the arts and seek to discover the area in which you live in exchange for looking after your home and pets. We promise to keep your home secure, leave it as clean and tidy as we find and nurture your pets.
We want you to relax and enjoy your holiday as much as we do. Happy to 'meet' initially over WhatsApp or other media and answer any questions you may have. (We are both non-smokers)
Beverley & Simon (and Mia) have been fantastic house sitters! Communication beforehand was brilliant and they left the house super clean and tidy on our return. Nothing was too much trouble and we received cat updates whilst we were away which was nice. Our cats were well loved and garden plants watered. I would thoroughly recommend Beverley & Simon to house sit for you!
Simon and Beverley were fantastic. Clear, timely communication before the sit, going out of their way to ensure they arrived at a convenient time for us, looking after all of our pets and the house beautifully, and even doing some weeding for us, which was marvellous ;-) They were friendly and very pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended.
Simon, Bev and Mia are a lovely family that traveled a very long way to enjoy a holiday while keeping our kitties company. They came across very well from the very first message and on zoom. Communication was always timely and thorough, and our cleaner was thrilled they were kept the house tidy and clean. We had regular updates about the cats, with some photos and comments that keps us reassured. It was a very dry time and the garden suffered a bit as it looked deceptively green but almost ... MORE
Look no further, Simon, Bev and Mia were fantastic from start to finish. They were brilliant communicating with us and left our house immaculate having washed all linen and towels. We had a great time away knowing our cats were happy and in safe hands.
Simon, Beverley and their daughter were the perfect sitters.
They were communicative and friendly from the outset.
They left the house beautifully clean and tidy.
They also sent a photo and message each day of our beloved cat Ruby, so we were very reassured that all was well.
We would definitely recommned them - and will also be asking them to sit for us again.
Simon and Beverley did a great job looking after our dog, cats and hens while were were away on holiday. Our house was spotless (they're much better at cleaning etc than us) and they'd even thoughtfully made us some bread to come home to. Thank you!
Make sure the garden and pot plants are thriving when you get back - get a house sitter.
