Hello. My name is Linda. I am recently retired so have plenty of free time to stay and care for your home and pets. I grew up on a dairy farm in New Zealand. Over the years cats, dogs, hens, cows, a horse, alpacas and sheep have been my pets. Shortly my lifestyle block and 15 coloured sheep with their new lambs will be sold.

Caring for others (humans and animals) is what I do best.. Until his recent death, I have been caring for my 86 yr old family friend, enabling him to remain living in his own home. This meant helping him with his pet dog, shopping, finances, house work, gardening and companionship for the last 10 years on a regular basis.

I’m a tidy, quiet, non drinker, non smoker and very reliable. I have owned my own home and farm since I was 21 years old and am very house proud.

Hobbies are reading, walking, cycling, travel and gardening. Family is important to me so I like visiting my 4 siblings and my 4 children. My favourite place to be is outside in nature.

I have a full drivers licence so should your pet become ill during your absence I can take them to your designated Vet for treatment.

Aside from 15 years as a dairy farmer and 20 years as a landlord my working life has included responsible professional roles of legal secretary and banking consultant which are proof of my high degree of honesty, integrity and excellent communication. There are character references with my application.

I’m eager to take care of your pets and home for you. The pets I most want to care for are on the profiles where I can clearly see that the pets are extremely well loved by their parents.
