what makes me good at this ?

I have a lifetime of experience with a range of dogs from Newfoundland, Bull terrier and lab's, both chocolate and Black, and I almost forgot 'Spongy' our golden retriever as kids. I have had several cats including Siamese and a few strays.

I am competent with dog training and behavioral skills but not formally trained, yet our last dog was trained to therapy level and used in many schools and special needs situations. I deeply miss the interaction with dogs and cats there is nothing like the unconditional love you experience, all of them characters with their own quirky habits.

I also, am fully house trained ! haha. but seriously, my comms skills are sharp due to working in the field of safeguarding for vulnerable people.

Why am i doing this ?

I have recently been accepted on a part time boat building course in cornwall, purchased a small live on boat and ready to change my life, I am interested in an active role in the community and getting to know my new home. I have been house and pet sitting for over a year now while studying animal psychology and working out this next chapter in my life. If you can help me get a feel for the local communities through allowing me to house sit and look after your fluffy pets, I would be most gratefull. To be honest i would like to spend as much time off the boat during the winter period and dont worry, its a part time course, i will have uber hours to entertain and be entertained by your furry friends, i will even chuck in a free kanine evaluation with realistic expectations and training if your up for it, kind of like a board and train but obviously less intense.
