We need a house sitter

North West - Cumbria

Jackie

Located on the southern edge of the Lake District National Park consisting of smallholding with good access off main road. Oil CH plus logburner in lounge. Large double bedroom available.
Horses need checking and maybe a feed once a day. Border collie dog to walk, cat care, etc
Car essential.
Maybe possible to do one or two weeks and find a second sitter if 3 weeks is too long

We were made to feel very welcome at Jackie and Gary traditional Lake District farmhouse, with fantastic views over the South Lakes. Bill the collie was friendly and enjoyed his walks, the cats took a little while to settle on us, but once they realised my wife was feeding them they would allow her to stroke them. Josh and Merlin are friendly giants with their own characters. Communication was excellent with a phone call before the sit to to let us know what was required and a list to let us ... MORE
