Looking for a House Sitter to look after our 11 year old border Collie Jess and our cat Snaps. Our home is a 4 bedroom detached Eco house with a fairly large garden situated in a golf course surrounded by woodland in Kinloss on the Moray Coast.
The Moray coast provides lovely beaches and forest walks. The picturesque Findhorn Village and the Findhorn community are only a few miles away.
This is the 5th year we have had a house sitter and it's always worked out well for all parties. Looking for someone to look after the house and our pets. Our Newbuild house is comfortable and in a lovely area and community. Look forward to hearing from you if you are interested.
Although we are away for only 6 nights. You would be welcome to arrive day before and stay until day after.
Loved my time at Janet and Tam’s eco home they are a welcoming easy going couple and good communicators. Jessie the dog is an absolute dream to look after and Snaps is an easy going chatty cat. They live in a beautiful area with easy access to facilities and beaches for good walks. Would be very happy to go back there

Jess is a very sweet dog, quiet and affectionate at home and always keen to go for a walk - she will chase a tennis ball as many times as you're willing to throw it! Snaps is a character - a cat of independent habits, but he's quite chatty as he comes and goes, and he let me pet him a few times 😂
The house is warm and comfortable with all mod-cons. It was the perfect getaway for a quiet holiday in a beautiful part of the country.
We had a great time at Janet's and Tam's. A wonderful, kind couple who we enjoyed being around.
As for Jess and Snaps it was fantastic. Both enjoy attention and were so easy to look after. Jess loved her walks and ball chasing around the golf course, Snaps even joined us one night which was brilliant. It is a beautiful area, which is well worth exploring. Highly recommend this sit.
A perfect 10, very good set of notes, great pets, great new build house, superb setting and location and lovely helpful and helpful people. Very highly recommended.
Janet and Tam were very welcoming and communication throughout was very pleasant. They also made sure the neighbourhood knew I was there, should I need any help or advise. Jess, the Border Collie of 10 is a very affectionate companion, once she gets to know you. She loves her ball and walks. Snaps is a very talkative tomcat, who will tell you what he wants and needs. Had a wonderful time house and pet sitting for Janet and Tam. The house and setting is absolutely beautiful and Jess and Snap were a delight to spend time with. Hoping it’s not the last we’ve all seen of each other as we would love to come up again.
Janet and Tam's home is just lovely, and the location is quite idyllic. Jess the dog was a delightful companion, so well behaved and patient. Snaps the cat was hilarious - out carousing all night, then demanding his breakfast in the morning.
I didn't actually meet Janet and Tam as they had already left by the time I arrived, but very detailed and helpful written instructions were sent in the days leading up to the sit,

Thank you Janet and Tam for giving us the opportunity of spending time in your home looking after Jess and Snaps. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed being with them as well as looking after your new garden and watching it grow in the lovely weather we had. The house is situated on an old golf course and surrounded by other Eco builds. This is great for short early morning and evening dog walks but we also absolutlely loved exploring the coast and woodlands beyond the doorstep by car, on foot and by bike.
Jess is an incredibly intelligent and affectionate dog, ball and frizby obsessed who joined us on our many outings to explore the Moray coast. A very easy going dog to look after and lots of fun to be with.

I loved sitting for Janet's pets. Jess is a smart, energetic and loving dog who is great fun. Snaps is a chatty, affectionate cat and spends more time outdoors.
Janets new build house is beautiful and very comfortable. Their garden is still being constructed but they have a lot of space around the house.
