Hello everyone! I am looking for a lovely person, family or couple to look after my cat and dog whilst I am away for 6 weeks. My 8 year old Cat, Dolly, is low maintenance, loves to go outside (I have a cat flap) but will also come in for a kiss and a cuddle! My 9 year old Dog, Sam, loves to be loved! He is exceptional with children as we always have children around, he likes other dogs although as an older boy has slightly less tolerance now. He doesn’t like to be introduced to new dogs on his lead so will bark but is absolutely fine off his lead even if there are other dogs in an open space. Sam’s recall is good, he travels well in the car and living in Nottingham we’re not far (within an hour) from some beautiful walks and hikes (Derbyshire dales and Peak District), not to mention a little hidden gem walking distance from the house. He is a little anxious about being left alone so I usually leave him in the kitchen with his nappy on so that he doesn’t “stress wee” but you shouldn’t expect any incontinence whilst you’re at home, he really is just a sensitive boy. Neither pet requires any medication or medical attention. All their food and essentials will be provided as well as a full fridge freezer for yourselves! There are no cameras inside or outside the property, parking is scarce on the street but there is nevertheless somewhere to park and I’m happy for my car to be used whilst I’m away so long as you have appropriate insurance and maintain fuel (check oil etc).
