We need a house sitter

North West - Cheshire

Gilly

We live on a 4 acre smallholding in the middle of the Cheshire countryside. The cottage is up a no through road with beautiful rural walks.
Jodrell Bank the national heritage site is across the fields and has a visitors centre.
We are 10 mins drive from Holmes Chapel the nearest town with an Aldi and a train station. There are several rural local pubs within 40 mins walk, The Red Lion in Lower Withington and The Dog in Over Peover.
Alderley Edge 11 minutes drive away has a Waitrose. Knutsford 17 minutes drive away has an Aldi and a Booths. These are two famous picturesque towns with many pubs and restaurants.

Watson the dog is a 5 year old springer spaniel.
He is fed morning and evening and needs two 30 min walks per day or one 60 min walk. He free ranges outside if we are at home but the property is not completely fenced in. He does not wander. Watson is very friendly and has good recall. He is clipped so has short hair to help keep him mudfree. He is not on the lead very much and does pull a bit if on a lead. He is not allowed upstairs in the house and he is a bit of a food stealer so we can't leave food on the kitchen counter!

We are looking for a knowledgeable horsey person to look after our two lovely horses. Red is a chestnut mare, She is 15.3hh. Breeze is a grey gelding, He is 15hh. The two horses each have a shelter with a hard standing coral where they are locked in at night. These open onto their paddocks where they are let out into during the day. They get fed morning and evening and get hay in their shelters. They need mucking out each morning. They are kept separate as they are protective over their food. They wear waterproof rugs to keep dry and warm.

We have two hens who get locked in a coop at night but free range during the day. They get fed and eggs collected in morning. They get cleaned out once a week.
