Hello, we have a lovely schitzu cross jack Russell called Toby and we wondered if you were available to look after him whilst we are away for a short break.
Maulden is a lovely village, 8 minutes from Flitwick station (with direct links to Kings Cross) and a large Tesco's, 3 minutes drive from Ampthill, a pretty georgian town and is in close proximity to Woburn and other pretty villages.
We live in a lovely thatched cottage, down a small lane at the end of which is a very good pub called The George. Behind the pub is a beautiful church surrounded by fields.
Toby is part of our family, he is so friendly, very chilled and loves being around people. He doesn't ask for much, a walk a day, feeding twice a day and lots of love!
Kathy and I really enjoyed this housesit looking after little Toby who at 14 years is a grand old man! Jackie has the house beautifully set up and the whole experience was easy and fun. Couple of lovely walks and gastro pubs nearby as well. Thanks again Jackie for letting us look after Toby and your lovely home.
This was a lovely sit! Jackie and Paul very kindly gave me a great handover before leaving (with good notes too) and Toby is absolutely adorable and so very easy. Their home is gorgeous, the area fantastic and all amenities are right on the doorstep. I had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to come back. Thank you for a lovely stay!
It was a real pleasure to look after Toby for Jackie and Paul. Their home and garden were gorgeous and very comfortable. .
We shared a delicious meal the night I arrived and it was great that they had printed cleared instructions and contacts for me while they were away. I woukd love to return and look after Toby again. He was a very well behaved wee dog and a joy to spend time with.
I chatted to Paul and Jackie on WhatsApp initially and they were just as lovely when I got to meet them in person :-) It was a pleasure to spend time at their gorgeous home and little Toby was so well behaved, friendly and good natured with all the other dogs we met on our walks. The village has all the amenities you need and the surrounding countryside and nearby towns are beautiful too :-) I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommended this housesit :-) Tracy
Toby was a joy to look after. My constant shadow, he warmed to me very quickly and soon had to be everywhere I was. Very cute. Jackie and Paul's place was very comfortable and close enough to plenty amenities being without a car. Lovely walks nearby too. Thanks for having me.
We really enjoyed our time looking after Toby, he was a friendly chap with no issues and very well behaved. Jackie and Paul's house is very comfortable and homely and in a beautiful location with some lovely walks. Everything went smoothly and we had contact with their daughter if we needed to know anything which gave us peace of mind. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this housesit to others.
