Manchester England

- We live in a lovely low maintenance house on a new build estate in Middleton, Greater Manchester. The house is approximately 20-30 minute drive from the city of Manchester.

- The nearest train station is Mills Hill, which is 2 miles away from the house. There are buses that run regularly through Middleton. During December, Manchester has internationally famous Christmas markets which are brilliant to visit. The Peak District is a short drive away and the Lakes are within 1-2 hours drive.

- We have two cats, Ollie and Huey, and a bouncy three year old dog called Tiggy. The cats are very relaxed and access the garden via the kitchen window. Ideally they'd be inside at night-time and there is a litter tray in the kitchen for them. Huey loves a cuddle on the sofa (Tiggy isn't allowed on the sofa).

- Tiggy is a gregarious patterdale terrier/cocker spaniel mix. She is very friendly and energetic. She is the perfect companion and benefits from a sitter who is used to dogs and can walk and play with her regularly. Tiggy has been great with children who have house sat before and are used to dogs.

- We would like house sitters to feed the pets twice per day and walk the dog 2-3 times per day.

- There is a driveway with electric vehicle charging and sitters will have access to our private garden and BBQ. Our home is very special to us and we look for sitters who will treat the house as their own and leave it in the condition in which they found it.

- We'd appreciate some messages to let us know how the pets are while we're away but we're definitely not helicopter parents!
