We are looking for someone (or two or three....) to look after our house, along with our 2 dogs (a sprocker spaniel and a cocker spaniel), a black and white cat and two chickens. (The chickens live in the garden). Our dogs are 8 years old and nearly 12 years old and despite being spaniels they can be very chilled. They love 2 walks a day but are very flexible. If it is very wet the older dog can sometimes be a princess she decides that a walk is not required or maybe just once around the park is enough. The pup is up for anything regardless of the weather. Otherwise there are many lovely rural/countryside walks directly from the house or via car further afield. The cat is a grazer and doesn't need much looking after other than making sure that she has some crunchies and treats. She is even more of a princess than the dog and would much rather have a door opened for her than have to use her cat flap! The chickens - need to be let out on the morning and put to bed at dusk. They also need a quick clean each day (poop scoop) when you collect the eggs. Otherwise it is just ensuring that they have enough pallets in their feeder and fresh water and that there are occasional grapes in the feed bucket. The house is Victorian and is largely modernised, 4 bedroom (all double and one with ensuite). The garden has a trampoline and glasshouse, private driveway and double garage. The house is double glazed and has underfloor heating with a real flame double sided gas fire between the sitting room and the dinning room. There is a modern kitchen dinning room, separate laundry and shower room and a brand new bathroom and ensuite upstairs. We have cleaners who come once a week and a robotic vacuum cleaner, so cleaning would be a minimum and mostly in relation to the animals - dishes/bowls etc. There is a cleaner who visits weekly but there may be a little extra cleaning and some necessary bits in the garden - like watering but nothing too much.
