We have a 16 acre smallholding with a small flock of 16 sheep, chickens, geese and ducks that are all easy maintenance, just need opening up and shutting away and food and water but assistance is available from local farmer/friends if any problems. We have a white german shepherd boy and terrier girl (she's the boss!) They are family pets but the GS can woof loudly enough to look the part! He is happy so long as you like throwing a ball and love very hairy hugs! We have two domestic cats who you have to watch don't bring their latest catch in the house! Unfortunately we can't have anyone who wants to bring their own dog as our boy is better with people than strange dogs. We are set in a valley where you can safely walk the dogs. For yourself a short drive to coastal walks and countryside, the dogs can be left for up to 5 hours so long as they get good walk either side and we have good WiFi if you work from home.
We really loved this house sit. Such a beautiful setting in a valley alongside the river. Louise and Alun are lovely hosts & made us feel very welcome & so did there gorgeous dogs Millie & Gwyn who are super friendly & love cuddles. All the animals where a pleasure to look after & would more than happy do again. Thank you both for entrusting us with your beautiful home & animals.
Louise and Alun are very kind and generous hosts who made me feel very comfortable as soon as I arrived. Their 2 dogs are very loving and behave very well and I enjoyed their company enormously. The house is in a beautiful valley with a lovely walk from the house in one of their fields. I was given a very nice room with my own bathroom to use during my stay and as many eggs as I wanted from their hens, geese and ducks. I recommend this housesit 100%.

Louise and Alun made us feel extremely welcome from the onset. We had a detailed hand-over and appreciated the trust placed in us as this was our first 'farm' sit with various animals to take care of.
The domestic fowl were a doddle to look after! They pretty much look after themselves and gave us plenty of eggs to enjoy.
