We need a house sitter

We are interested in seeing if you are up for dog and house sitting for us for occasional weekends away and / or 1-2 week holidays. The dates I have put are for one of our weekends away but we'd like to grow a longer term regular dog-sitting arrangement if possible so that the dogs have a familiar face to welcome back each time.
We live in a 200 year old 5 bed modernised cottage with big garden in a village 3 miles from Ashby de la Zouch and Swadlincote and are in the middle of the National Forest where there are abundant lovely dog walks and a canal.
We have four friendly, loveable but stupid labradors (3, 6, 7 and 7 years old) and 30 hens so would love someone willing to take them on while we go on holidays! Let me know if you'd be interested and we can chat more. Preference will be given to couples / more than one person due to the quantity of dogs, although they're easy to walk on the lead.

This is the sort of sit one only dreams about. Bentley, Bazyl and sky are pleasure to walk on or off the lead, friendly with all other dogs too and fun to play with. The chickens are easy to care for as are the Koi. Christina and Philip are great hosts, have a lovely home and an amazing garden. Lucky me it was the last week in June with wall to wall sunshine. 5 stars just isn't enough to give so very highly recommended I would do it again in an instant.

We spent a wonderful weekend at Tina & Phil's beautiful home. Looking after Sky, Bazil & Bentley was a real joy. As we arrived all the dogs ran towards us in a hearty greeting as I we were long llost friends! It was great going for walks & being able to let the dogs off the lead. They were very well behaved, & also with other dogs. Though it's only early March we enjoyed sitting out in the beautiful garden enjoying some winter sun. Highly recommend this pet sit.
