South Devon England

We're looking for someone/ a couple to enjoy our house and look after our Goldendoodle.

The house:

A converted school house in the centre of a small Devon town on the edge of Dartmoor. Lovely walled garden and plenty of private off-street parking. Despite being in the town, it is a very quiet and peaceful location.

Your room is a double room with views to the surrounding hills. We will provide towels, bedding etc.

We're a 5 minute walk to the centre of the town where there are pubs, cafés and good local shops. It’s a 20 minute drive to the nearest beach and a 15 minute drive up on to the moor.


Our friendly Goldendoodle Lucy is 4 years old. She requires a minimum of 2 x 1 hour walks per day which can be done locally from the house or she is happy to travel in the car. If you like walking, she will be up for longer walks with you. She will need to be kept on a lead when she is out with you. Lucy is very easy going, just needs letting out during the day to go to the toilet, and lots of cuddles!

We have a small garden and would be grateful if you were able to water plants in pots iif the weather is warm, and also mow the lawn.

Arrival:

We are leaving very early in the morning to catch a flight so we will be in the house for the first night and will be able to show you around and go through Lucy’s routine. We would be happy for you to arrive at a time to suit you, and of course will welcome you with a meal!
