Ella-Maria
My name is Ella. We are a family of four and have an additional five fury family members. We have two small children under 3. We live in a two bedroom house with garden near Huntly, Scotland. We go on a family holiday twice a year and sometimes it’s just me who goes down south for short trips away. We have two cats with heart conditions but I’ll get to that later on.
Peanut and butter are outdoor cats, they both have a trackers so we can always see where they are. The others DONT go out. All cats get fed ONLY raw pet food, which will be frozen and defrosted before feeding. We use dougies raw dog food for all our pets. However peanut is a little weird about raw food and his stomach can’t actually handle it, so we cook his raw meal for him and give him that. Yes, it’s exactly what you think. Hexe has a serious heart condition and therefore requires medication three times daily.
She is very timid and although we’ve had her for years now we never cuddled or touched her and that is absolutely okay with us. As she has a heart condition we do not want to put her under any type of unnecessary stress so therefore please keep a distance from her. She does not want to be touched or petted although she looks super soft and soooo cuddly. The way I managed to give her her medication is that I use store bought cat food and hide the tablets in a little bit and then throw it to her or bring it to her, while keeping my distance, I observe if she eat it or not . Sometimes I need to distract the others so that she can take a medication in peace. She is very attached to toast. And you rarely see the one without the other.
