Ashford England

Hi, I am looking for a caring and courteous singleton, couple, or family with older children to look after our home and dog, Luna, for 10 days in April '25 whilst we are away celebrating my husband's 50th.

We live in a beautiful old farmhouse, renovated to a modern spec with 5-bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, downstairs toilet, large garden and all mod-cons. We are on the outskirts of Ashford, Kent, surrounded by fields and countryside with some lovely woodland walks, but also only a 7-minute drive from shops, restaurants, amenities, and some lovely country pubs, Ashford International railway station has high-speed rail links into London St Pancras in 37 minutes. Or if you fancy, there are beautiful beaches only a 20-minute drive from us.

Luna is our 9 year old female Lakeland Terrier who has been spayed and is chipped. She loves walks and is an excellent football player! She is friendly, loves cuddles and loves being part of the family. She is happy to sleep in the day and sleeps well at night in her crate. She is a small dog and is relatively easy to manage, but being an only pet is not very used to mixing with other dogs and very small children (my children are 8 & 15). She would need feeding twice a day and would love a daily walk.

Our garden has an irrigation system so the flowerbeds take care of themselves but there may be the odd pot or 2 to water.
