We need a house sitter

West Wales & The Valleys - Pembrokeshire

We are looking for pet sitters from 1st - 9th August 2025, while we go on a family holiday..

We live in the beautiful Pembrokeshire, in the county town of Haverfordwest. We have hundreds of beaches that can be explored along the 187 miles of coast line. Our nearest beach is approx 5 miles away and so a car would be essential. We have 3 children and so have a large 4 bedroom house!

We have a gorgeous black labradoodle who loves his crazy family. He is quite an anxious little doggy as we got him in lockdown but he loves to get out and about, loves cuddles and fusses! He sleeps in a dog crate, downstairs, unless we are spoiling him by letting him sleep in the bed! This would be totally up to you.

My children also have a hamster each (all in separate cages), and my daughter also received a Stick insect for Christmas (called a Jungle Nymph).... thanks for that Santa.

We have a large Tesco extra, Aldi, Lidl and Morrisons all within 1 miles of our home.
We have a garden with a trampoline but its a tad scruffy, so there's not much to upkeep.

This is only our third time looking for house and pet sitters, as we no longer want to feel we are putting pressure on our aging parents and busy siblings.

I had the pleasure of house sitting for Beth, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment I arrived to meet Beth and the loveliest dog Brillo I felt very welcome. Beth’s home got everything you need and the location is great, just short drive to stunning beaches and many great walks those Pembrokeshire offers.
