We need a house sitter

West Midlands - Warwickshire

Olga

Hi! I live in the beautiful and rural corner of Warwickshire in a small cottage with a lot of character. The oldest part of the cottage is about 450years old. This is 3 bedrooms cottage, it is reasonably clean and cosy. Have good WiFi connection, I have a new boiler, so the cottage is warm. The place is quite isolated, there are neighbours, but we don't interfere with each other's life. The location is stunning: the common, where my house situated, is a little beautiful nature reserve. You will need a car to get to the shops. Only 15 driving away from Warwick Castle, Shakespeare's birthplace in Stratford upon Avon, 20 minutes on a train from Birmingham, one hour driving from Oxford, lots of lovely walks down canals near by, Leamington Spa is also just round the corner. Plenty to see and to do. Recently the house has gone through a lot of renovation, the walls in the living room is are still stripped but the rest of the house is habitable. My lovely cat Winston (16 years old) is very easy to look after, he is talkative, he is smart, great companion.

Olga's cottage is set beside a beautiful wooded hill, & near the Stratford canal. Winston the cat is a gentleman who will sleep on your bed all night, and loves his strokes and games throughout the day. I was the last of a series of carers but he was immediately friendly, &!as we got established he became an even more chilled and affectionate fellow. I am currently still on this (extended) house sit, and couldn't be happier to be staying on longer. When I joined the website, I envisaged myself in the perfect setting with the most affectionate and charismatic of cats - that's precisely what I've found here in Claverdon. Winston has become a dear friend who I will miss very much when I move on. The cottage is secluded and quiet, surrounded by lovely countryside, just how I like things. I had a wonderful time looking after Winston the cat in Olga's enchanting cottage. Winston is a friendly, playful character who is a joy to be with. The house is clean and tidy and combines modern utilities with old charming pieces of furniture. Olga was very communicative, took a strong interest in Winston and I having a good time and drove me to and from the train station(s). Unfortunately this housesit didn't happen. We arrived as arranged on April 15, but sadly Olga's flight, the next day, was cancelled and no more flights being available to her destination until June. Olga was very welcoming, she has a lovely home and cat. The location is fabulous. We would recommend house sitting for Olga and hope to have the chance to return
