We had the absolute pleasure of house sitting for Stuart and Victoria for four weeks, and it was truly a dream experience. The house was immaculate, and they were wonderful hosts, providing us with excellent communication and incredible hospitality both before and during our stay. The house was immaculate, and they were wonderful hosts, providing us with excellent communication and incredible hospitality both before and during our stay. The home itself felt like a vacation—a peaceful, relaxing retreat. We loved the daily walks with Marvin and Hank, their two wonderful dogs. Both are affectionate, well-behaved, and love cuddles. They simply want to be near you and were an absolute joy to care for. Romulus and Remus, their beautiful Maine Coon cats, were equally delightful—content to bask in the sun around the house or garden, always serene and easygoing.

Great house sit, Victoria and Stuart gave us a warm welcome and the pets were easy to look after. Friendly village. It did help to have a car as there is limited public transport.

It was a joy to be of service to the regal Romulus and Remus in their fabulous home. They had a very calming presence. Both cats warmed up to me over my short stay and their needs were easy to meet. Victoria and Stuart were excellent communicators throughout, who provided a comprehensive welcome pack and an in depth tour of the house. Hank and Marvin greeted me with excitement on arrival. Highlights for me were the superb standards of cleanliness, practical and functional touches around the home, underfloor heating, music, security as a single traveller and the location- such a peaceful, enjoyable house sit that I’m very grateful to have experienced.

What a wonderful and relaxing time we spent at Victoria and Stuarts beautiful home in the country. We were made to feel so welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Some lovely places to walk and drive to. The two adorable cats Remus and Romulus were such characters and very ameniable. Excellent communication from start to finish. I can highly recommend a stay here, and we hope to return again.

The house is a beautiful barn conversion set in pretty gardens with a private courtyard and stunning views. It was a cosy and relaxing place to be. Happy to house/pet sit again for them: lovely family with adorable pets.
