Cirencester England

We are looking for house and dog sitters, preferably a mature retired couple. We live in a beautiful grade 2 listed 4 bedroom Cotswold mellow stone house with a private enclosed garden of approx half an acre. The garden is full of cottage garden plants and roses (not overlooked) in a lovely village with a community shop and post office a few yards away and a very popular local pub/restaurant within easy strolling distance 3 minutes down the road, The river Coln runs through the village and there are lots of countryside walks. Cirencester is a 15/20 minute drive away.
Pet care:
Maisie is our 6 year old Maltese/toy poodle otherwise known as a Multipoo. She absolutely loves human contact, is very affectionate and full of fun. She particularly enjoys retrieving her Beco ball in the garden and loves a short or long walk, we don’t have any set regime so you are free to choose your own time/regularity. Maisie’s coat requires combing to prevent any matting. She is fed once a day in the evening around 5pm. She is not allowed upstairs (although has been know to sneak up unseen to steal a sock or slipper as a prize, but doesn’t chew them!)
Garden care:
In the summer watering of pots and troughs and deadheading when needed . We have a gardener who will come to mow the lawns/weed once a week. If you enjoy gardening let us know, you are more than welcome to get involved!
Having your own transport is preferred.
