My home circumstances have recently changed and I work away from home during the week I now need Monday to Friday pet care. My contracts usually last 4-6 weeks but I will be home at weekends so I am just looking for Monday to Friday.
My three cats need to be fed in the morning and the dog will need to be walked at least once a day and fed once a day. Both cats and dog have a supply of fresh water daily and dried food is available all day and night. There is a catflap for the cats to come and go as they wish. The dog may be left for small increments of time but I do not want him left alone all day and once you meet him you will not want to leave him.
The house is a 2 bed dorma bungalow, one double bedroom is available for the house sitter.
There is a gardener who comes every couple of weeks but does not need access to the inside of the house and a cleaner who comes for 2 hours every Thursday. Bin day is Friday so bins need to go out Thursday night. There is a driveway with parking for one car.
There is a large Samsung TV with surround sound in the sitting room and in the kitchen there is a Ninja Air Fryer as well as conventional cooking facilities. Dishwasher and microwave also on site, upstairs washing machine and drier, the upstairs bathroom has both bath and large shower and downstairs loo also has shower where I shower the dog if he's muddy.
The village is very pretty and there are lots of interesting long walks available on the doorstep, the dog walks off lead in the fields. The local amenities include Blakes- a very popular bakery where breakfast is served from 8:30 am and fresh sourdough bread and cinnamon buns are the attractions which bring many people to the village. The Double Red Duke is a Hotel and restaurant where dogs are welcome- great for a cup of tea in front of one of the many real fires after a long walk. The Masons Arms is the village pub serving great food - and as part of the Double Red Duke dogs are also welcome there.
