A perfect house sitting experience. Madeleine was very helpful and provided me with all the information I needed to enjoy my stay both. Both the essential practical information and some much appreciated suggestions for local attractions and food/restaurants. Great local produce is definitely a highlight of the area. The house was really comfortable and a pleasure to stay in. It is set in an idyllic location with access to some beautiful walks straight from the front door or a very short drive away. And the stay was enhanced by the company of 'the gang'. of dachshunds, cat, pygmy goats and ducks. I really enjoyed the time I spent with all of my companions, each of whom have their own character and were very easy to look after.

What can we say? Such a lovely housesit. Beautiful surroundings with a cosy house and the cutest pooches to keep you company. Madeleine and Sam were great hosts and we loved taking care of their beloved furry and feathered friends. The house is in a more rural setting, which is just lovely for a quiet getaway, but there are so many great adventures to be had in the nearby surroundings. Highly recommend.

Madeleine and Sam are a lovely couple who warmly welcomed us to their home. We were given detailed information about the pets, their care and personalities together with suggestions of walks and places to visit nearby. The house is in a very peaceful rural setting, with beautiful countryside walks from the doorstep. We also visited several other areas which were very close by with their adorable dogs, Frank and Percy. We really enjoyed the tranquility, watching wild birds at the feeders and the ... We also visited several other areas which were very close by with their adorable dogs, Frank and Percy. We really enjoyed the tranquility, watching wild birds at the feeders and the ducks in the paddock (who provided delicious fresh eggs every day) Thankfully Ralph, the cat, didn't bring us any gifts! He came and went throughout the day, stopping by for food and occasional strokes :-)
