We live on a small but very busy farm with 3 dogs and sheep. Other people are around to do the agricultural work, but a watching eye would be useful. A one bedroom cottage is available for the sitters exclusive use.
Experience of lambing would be a distinct advantage. We are away while our 40 ewes lamb and the farm hand would appreciate some support.
The location is very convenient for accessing the beautiful countryside, we are close to a motorway and a mainline railway station (just over an hour in to central London) A vehicle will be made available. Y
We travel fairly regularly, and have a home in the West Indies, so really need responsible sitters who are used to animals and will communicate with us while we are travelling.
House sitting for Jane and David was an absolute pleasure! They were incredibly welcoming, and very kind. The 3 dogs were adorable, loving and so much fun to be around. We enjoyed being in such a lovely area, and are looking forward to any future house sitting opportunities with Jane and David.
Looking after Jane and David's place was an absolute joy. Such a lovely location. The girls (dogs) were friendly and lots of fun. The eggs from the chickens was a real bonus. Lovely people and lovely sit. Would come back anytime!
Jane and David made us very welcome, lovely house sit in this cosy Barn Conversion near Chippenham. Albie, Maggie and Golly were lovely dogs, great company and a pleasure to look after. We had a very enjoyable stay, had some lovely days out, would recommend.
