We own a detached, modern 4 bed home in Portishead and we’re looking for a sitter mainly to look after our labradoodle whilst we travel in France for 3 weeks in August.
We are within easy walking distance of the marina and high street as well as a nature reserve, coastal path to clevedon and the lake grounds with outdoor pool.
Portishead is ideally located to access Bristol city centre (15-20 min drive) as well as the mendip hills, Somerset coast and a short trip over the bridge into wales.
The house is relatively newly renovated with a small, sunny level garden. There is off street parking available at the front of the property. A weekly mow of the small lawn, front and back would be ideal.
We have a dedicated office space and fast WiFi if you need to work from home during your stay. We could also arrange some weekend dog sitting cover if you’d like to use the house as a base to explore the south west, during your stay. (We’d need to arrange this in advance)
Our dog, Bowie is officially a labradoodle but looks like a scruffy Labrador. She’s very gentle and calm and just loves being in your company. She’s now 11 and has a little arthritis, so doesn’t need huge walks everyday, she’s more interested in having company and a short stroll to explore.
