We need a house sitter

South East - Hampshire

Tracy

Modern family home, great location in a lovely village on the solent and river Hamble. Very close to several walks - to the beach through countryside, along the coast to Lee on the Solent, pink ferry to Hamble, walk up the river Hamble, Warsash Common, Hook Nature Reserve...
Quiet neighbourhood with park opposite. Walking distance to 4 pubs, cafes, local shops, Waitrose.
Off-road parking down driveway.
2 friendly rescue dogs and a small tortoise and cat.
Due to nervous nature of one of the dogs, not ideal for children.
Dogs are fine left alone for a few hours. Ideally like minimum 45 mins walk a day, or a couple of shorter walks, very flexible as they are used to me being at work.
Nice garden, private and secure, private driveway with gate.
WiFi, TV, recently decorated pleasant spare bedroom, king size bed. Welcome to borrow bikes and paddleboard. Nice bike rides, walks, sea swimming locally.

Was a pleasure to return & spend some quality time with Ralph, Teo & Mabel. Having visited previously, I was already aware of their personalities. I rebonded quickly with the two lovely, gentle, playful dogs & we spent hours together walking the coastline & river, exploring the woodlands & nature reserves, running & chasing on the beach. They're great fun to be with & there are so many wonderful places, we'd often lose track of time. The cat keeps to herself but would join us during quiet ... MORE

Communication prior to arrival excellent, so knew exactly what to expect. Tracy & family extremely welcoming, plenty of time to meet the animals & learn all about their needs & routines, even though everyone busy packing. House has genuine homely feel, a really calm, relaxing space, & the guest room was immaculate. Tracy's pets are lovely fellows. The dogs Ralph and Teo were so nice to look after, and Mabel is a precious lovely cat. Tracy left written instructions very clear regarding their routine and food, as well as the house guidelines. The house is lovely, easy to keep clean and tidy and a beautiful garden. The area is really beautiful and we managed to explore nice places and walks in the companion of Ralph and Teo. We definitely recommend Tracy to all the community.

I met up before house sit day and Tracy showed me around and met the two dogs and cat . The tortoise was going to her daughter for the duration. I arrived at time agreed and all went well. The dogs well behaved and shy cat became friendlier as days passed. The place was near shops and waterside plus buses. Enjoyed very much.

Amazing animals - well behaved and trained. Each with their own personality and very friendly. Lovely clean house with our own guest room and bathroom separate from the family's rooms. Lots of walking options with the dogs and nearby shops and pubs. Tracy was welcoming and contactable while away. Details were left for us in regards to the animals care. Overall a very good experience.
