My partner and I are looking for someone to care for our two cats, Luna and Simba, while we're out of the country for two weeks. Luna is a 7-year-old tuxedo cat, and Simba is 5 years old. They’re both very independent and friendly.
Our home is a 3-bedroom property with access to a shared garden, located in the Upperthorpe area. It’s a fantastic location with convenient access to various amenities:
Just a 15-minute ride to Sheffield city centre via bus or tram (the nearest tram stop is a 5-minute walk).
Several coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance.
An 8-minute walk to both a Tesco superstore and Aldi supermarket.
A 15-minute walk to Kelham Island, a vibrant area with modern bars, pubs, and restaurants.
Only a 15-minute drive to the stunning Peak District National Park.
The house will be decorated for Christmas, creating a festive and cozy atmosphere. Maintenance requirements are minimal, and Luna and Simba are self-sufficient during the day. They only need wet food twice daily. We also have a few plants that would need watering just twice during your stay—instructions will be provided.
We’re flexible with dates, so if you’re unable to stay for the entire two weeks but can cover at least five days, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’d love to arrange a video call to show you the house, discuss the arrangement, and ensure you're comfortable with the environment and the responsibilities.

Aspasia was an amazing host. So easy to communicate with and left excellent instructions. Simba and Luna were a joy. The apartment was lovely and in an ideal area. 10/10 experience.
Aspasia came across as personable and positive, and communication was good whilst arranging the sit.
Luna and Simba, are adorable, really loving and good company. There were a couple of issues around supplies of cat litter and wet food and this was ordered by Aspasia online, but it's preferable to have everything required for the sit at the outset.
The house was a different matter, with 3 rooms lacking furniture which had been in the advert photos. It transpired they were rental agency ... MORE
I had a very positive and pleasant experience of housesitting for Aspa and David. They are very nice and easy-going people. The house was nice, clean and comfortable. The garden was very well kept, and charming. It was full of roses a grape vine and plants of rasberry, and I enjoyed sitting there in the nice whether. The neighbourhood was nice and peaceful, with shops, and supermarket nearby. Aspa gave me very clear instructions (with pictures). It was very easy to care for Simba and Luna. ... MORE
I had the most wonderful time staying at Aspa's house with Luna and Simba.
It's a lovely pad not far from Finsbury park with wide open windows and many plants. The cat's are no trouble, (although Simba will steal Luna's food if he can get away with it!)
There was great communication throughout and everything went really smoothly. Thank you Aspa!
Aspa was so warm and communicative. I really enjoyed house sitting and looking after her 2 wonderful cats who were a joy to be around. Would definitely recommend!
House sitting is a fun, immersive way to experience this magnificent country - without paying a cent for accommodation!
