We need a house sitter

East of England - Cambridgeshire

Alexa

We are looking for a house/cat sitter for 10 days over the new year (December 27th - January 5th).

Charlie is a friendly, affectionate and playful young cat. He needs feeding twice (3 times if you're home at lunch time!) a day, and plenty of cuddles! He loves company but it’s fine to leave him home alone if you go out for the day.

We have a lovely 2 bed family home in Royston - a small market town on the northern border of Hertfordshire. Royston is only 20 mins by train from Cambridge (on the London to Cambridge line), and has a beautiful heath for walking, as well as other lovely walks in the surrounding area. There is on street parking if necessary.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time looking after Charlie and Alexa's home. Charlie, still basically a kitten, was a totally loveable bundle of mischief and fun. There was never a dull moment. It did not take long to discover his routines and idiosyncrasies. Alexa and I kept in touch with each other and she left me excellent instructions. I loved discovering Royston and I would be very happy to repeat the experience again. I can highly recommend this house sit.

Just finished a 3 week sit with this darling little pussycat Charlie. I'm writing this now because I usually forget to post after a sit. Alexa was great, the house was clean and tidy for me, plenty of instructions, and room made for my things in bedroom &kitchen(fridge) also wine and chocs to greet me on arrival which was so thoughtful! I've just completed a wonderful cat sitting experience looking after Charlie in Royston. He was adorable and a ball of energy, but also very smoochy. Alexa was an excellent communicator and wonderful to deal with. I was made to feel very welcome by Muku. The house was lovely to stay in. Royston is a really nice place to stay with lovely walks and very handy to Cambridge. I would recommend looking after Charlie and this house sitting to anyone, as it was very enjoyable.
