Hi there

We are off on holiday for 8days End of May 2025.
Please read before offering your services.

We are looking for a House sitter for our lively Labrador cross pointer bitch, our 8year old cat, plus our ducks, chicken and tortoise.
The ducks require little to no looking after as they are self sufficient.

This would be an ideal sit for a single person who enjoys quiet country walks.
We can accommodate a couple, sharing a double bed, but no dogs please. Our dog Poppy is quite an anxious dog.

We live in a pretty little village, ideal for those who enjoy walking and wildlife. We have a stream that runs alongside the patio to the side of the cottage.
Our dog Poppy will need a walk or two every day, either over the local cricket field or through the lanes around the village. Poppy loves playing ball and loves to run off the lead in a secure field.

Louie comes and goes as he pleases....he's a very affectionate cat and enjoys snuggling up in bed.

Our ducks and chicken will need only minimal daily care, as they feed from a hopper. occasionally you will be required to chop up cucumbers and tomatoes for them as a treat.

we have WIFI and broadband available in the cottage, so ideal for homeworkers.....though poppy will demand for attention. ( she's 3years old)

We are happy to provide our accommodation FREE of CHARGE, along with ample food for the duration of your stay too.
We would not expect to pay for your stay, however we will be happy to pay petrol costs. :)

There's ample parking on the driveway for your vehicle.

The local train station is 4 miles away, in Abergavenny.

We have external security cameras to the front, side and rear of the property.

Please note-We will stock up the fridge with all food you may need during your stay.
