ONE WEEK XMAS HOUSE SIT FLEXIBLE ON DATES WITHIN RANGE

We have been offered the opportunity to now be away over the main xmas period for a week. Flexible as to when from 21 Dec or 27 Dec for a week. Before we book to go away just wondered if anyone was interested in a house sit as below. Appreciate its a popular time but just gauging initial interest, bit of a catch 22 I know at short notice!

A WEEK IN RURAL BEDFORDSHIRE. Comfy cosy home 300 years old. Large double bedroom. Boo and Lily are two friendly cats (white shorthair and rag-doll) who have very individual characters. Outside are 7 Bantams who are free range but just need locking up at night. The house is in a conservation village near to the Shuttleworth Aircraft Museum and Swiss Gardens. Wrest Park English Heritage is 20 mins. Excellent village pubs and others within a few miles. Easy access off A1. Cambridge is 45 mins away/Bedford 20 mins/MK 40 mins so quite central to get out and about. Log burner, fully equipped kitchen, plenty of books, cds, Sonos etc., so a great place to chill out with country walks just outside the back door. A lovely wood walk within 5 mins. For some reason I cant add more images at mo but can email more.. Xmas garland over fireplace. Xmas welcome hamper included.

This was a great house sit. Nice house and pets with lovely garden area to sit out. House faces a large field and it is very scenic. The cats Boo and Lily are very friendly and affectionate. The hens are great fun to watch too. Jules and Steve the home owners were extremely informative and there was a big file filled with things around the area etc. They were very generous and friendly too. Good wifi, had no issues there. Got to give it 100% would definitely do the sit again.

Jules was very welcoming. The house is situated on the edge of a beautiful village surrounded by fields. The animals are lovely and affectionate with great personalities. The chickens are very well behaved, even put themselves to bed at night, so all you need to do is close the gate. An enjoyable house sit, well recommended.

We had the best experience staying at Jules and Steve's house in old Warden, Bedfordshire. They couldn't have made us more welcome and their house and location is absolutely tops. Jasper their beautiful dog is amazing as are the cats Boo and Lily. I have no hesitation in recommending anyone considering taking up Jules offer to house and pet sit, (that's if I don't get in first to return). I was delighted to be accepted to house sit for Jules and Steve for the second time, and it was really lovely to send time again with their special dog Jasper, their white cat Boo and a new addition in the form of another cat - a very pretty rag-doll nicknamed 'The Princess'. No rating We had a wonderful house-sit for Jules and Steve at Old Warden. We were very comfortable. Laundry Farm is a lovely place to stay. Jasper, Boo and Lily were very easy to care for. Instructions were clear, which made it very easy. The fresh eggs were very enjoyable too. We loved dining in the expansive garden on hot days. Can recommend this sit

No rating We had an extremely comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable stay at Jules & Steve's lovely countryside home. The village is beautiful and has a very nice pub within walking distance. If your into walking you can go for miles and Jasper the friendly dog will be more than happy to go with you. He is so well behaved and was never any trouble! No rating My housesitting adventure in Old Warden was so delightful, I was very lucky to stay in a 300-year-old house that was glorious to be in accompanied by Jasper and Boo, and 8 hens. The pets I whom I was responsible for were such so a pleasure to be with and very well behaved. My host Jules and Steve were the loveliest people who made me feel at home instantly. Thank you, my lovely people, I hope we stay in touch.

No rating I had a very happy house sit for Jules in Old Warden. I was made to feel very welcome, and thoroughly enjoyed building a bond with their dog, their cat and their special chickens. They were easy animals to care for, with not a squeek from them during the night. The house is very homely and particularly pretty.
