We need a house sitter

East Midlands - Northamptonshire

Anna

We live in a 4 bedroom semi-detached property with garden, 3 bathrooms and driveway parking.

The house has the following amenities:
- fast broadband
- smart TV with all the streaming channels
- Office space to work from
- washing machine
- tumble dryer
- dish washer
- wardrobes
- heating

The house has 2 cameras outside, one is the doorbell, the other one is pointing at the cars.

As the sitter you will be in the guest bedroom. The bedroom does not have an ensuite bathroom but there is a full family bathroom with bath and shower that you will have access to.

As it is Christmas time and we LOVE Christmas the house will come decorated for you to enjoy.

We are surrounded by countryside and park walks. The cotswolds is also less than 2hrs away and we have access to a train station only 10mins away that can get you to london.

We will be out of the country and our poor boy has to stay behind. Cooper is a 4yo Border Collie. If you’ve ever encountered a collie you will now just how special they are.

Responsibilities will mainly involve looking after Cooper.
- morning and evening food and fresh water
- playing with him
- belly scratches
- taking him for walks
- giving him lots of cuddles

He usually just sleeps during the day while we are working upstairs.
Cooper is a fast walker and pulls a little sometimes. We do not take him off lead due to him being very sensitive of loud noises such as loud bangs, motorbikes and fireworks. He is also fearful of cats (after he got attacked by them) so he will start acting scared trying to get away from them when he encounters one on a walk.

Cooper does not get into a car willingly (sometimes he jumps in) but most of the time he will need picking up to load him into the boot. He weighs +-25kg.

Cooper is a very intelligent boy (as most collies are) and requires a level of mental stimulation daily. He has his activities that we tend to alternate or try to incorporate during his walks.

Cooper is not a velcro dog. He will let you know when he wants a belly rub but do not expect to get kisses and lots of affection.

A usual routine for us will look like this:
- 7am wakeup and walk cooper
- 8am feed cooper
- 9 to 16:30 work from home
-12:00 lunchtime we tend to play with him a little
- 18:30 walk
- 19:00 dinner and some play

No garden care will be required.
