Fairfield sits in 7 acres with fields, orchard and food growing zone, just on the edge of Exmoor National Park. We have 2 very, very friendly cats and 3 hens. Cats need feeding twice a day and fuss. Hens need letting out and putting away each day, feed and water topped up, they free roam around the house and land but need to be shut into their coop by sunset to protect from the fox who has already had 2 of ours. This will suit someone with a car, although we are on a seasonal bus route. We live in a very pretty place that is an international dark sky reserve. Hope you can come and enjoy the peace and look after our home and animals for us.
We have a log burner, so chopping wood and lighting fires will be something you need to be happy to do each day.
The cats like a quiet house so we will preference applicants without little kids who also want to lead a quiet life here.
We have lots of house plants and some food growing in a polytunnel that may need watering. We fly out on the 3rd so hope someone can arrive on the 2nd to have some handover. We return Sun 13th in the afternoon.
