We are a couple who met in Barcelona and we love the outdoors and nature. We sold our English School in Barcelona (June 2019) and have begun new adventures here in the UK.
We moved to the UK just before the pandemic hit and have since worked together as Gardener and in Marketing at 'Green island Gardens' in Essex and as Camp Wardens at Town Farm in Ivinghoe.
For a few years together we directed nature camps and workshops in Spain for children from all facets of society. We are able to organize and communicate to groups very well.
By trade I (Matt) am also Musician, Chef, English / Singing & Self Expression teacher & Maria is a Musician, Language and Music teacher, Piano & Body Percussion teacher.
We are both hardworking, patient, fun and have good organizational skills.
For a year from the autumn of 2021 and in support of War Child UK who do such great work helping children affected by war, Maria and I have headed out on tour with our motorhome and aim to play as much gigs and deliver as many music workshops as possible.

We love animals and have a caring and playful nature with them. We are also responsible and appreciate the need for you to feel at ease when you are away. We will give our very best :)

Matt & Maria
Despite our Theo unexpectedly passing just a week prior, Matt and Maria were very understanding in the change of circumstances - even offering to cover the costs of electricity during their stay (which was absolutely not necessary, but appreciated nonetheless!). We returned home to a clean flat and absolutely no issues.
Matt and Maria were so great with our two cats and puppy who can be a big handful. They were communicative with us before and throughout the sit so we felt at ease while we were away. Our animals were well looked after and happy. We would highly recommend them.
Matt and Maria were great housesitters. Our quite demanding cat was very happy in their care - they communicated well, both prior to and during the sit. They were prompt, easy to get along with and left the house clean and tidy. I would recommend them.

Matt & Maria looked after our house & cat for a long weekend. The place was sparkling when we returned and cat was well fed and happy.
Communication with Matt was very easy and he shared updates during the stay.

Matt and Maria were brilliant, very caring towards the pets, kept me updated, and were flexible with arriving and leaving times. They left the house clean and tidy, and I would defintiely entrust them with Archie and Wiffle again!
This was our first time at house-sitting for all of us and everything went like clockwork.
Matt and Maria were great communicators both before and during our trip.
We came home to a lovely tidy house and a super happy , what more can you ask!
