CoupleWe are a trustworthy, responsible, respectful, reliable and friendly animal loving married couple who love to travel, volunteer and help others.
My husband, Howard (or H to his friends, so you can call him H!) is now retired, but he ran his own painting and decorating business for over 30 years. H volunteers for a local charity who aim to help those in our local community fight poverty. The charity provides food parcels, household goods, furniture and appliances, which H helps deliver in their van. H loves to drive. Last summer H was an official driver for a very well known annual sporting event in our local area. He loved it so much that he’s applied to do it again this year.
I'm Vicki, the one that wears the trousers! Having worked many years (and hours) for the same person, assisting them with running their own business, I now volunteer for the same local charity as H. I assist them with their monthly newsletter and fundraising activities. I also volunteer for a local football league. The league provides organised U7 to U18 female football for 7000 players. I am their registration secretary, fixture co-ordinator, fixture secretary and assistant secretary, which keeps me busy and out of trouble! For my third volunteering role I help proofread the match day programme for my local football team. All of my volunteering is carried out remotely, allowing me to continue what I do, but also travel and look after your home and pets.
H & I have owned many properties over the years. In the past few years we have been renting, so we know how to look after, and respect our own properties and other people's homes.
I turn 50 this year, and following the sudden death of my Dad (my hero) 18 months ago, it's time for H & I to do something different, exploring new areas, meeting new people and pets by helping you, and allowing you to enjoy time away from your home and your furry loved ones.
Howard had Chow Chow's growing up, which he was responsible for. I had a cat, that definitely had 9 lives! Both of us have OCD so your home and pets will definitely be looked after in the manner that you would like them to! We both drive, and own a car, are DBS checked and can't wait to meet you and look after your home and pets. Please feel free to contact us at anytime. Take care.
This is our second time having Vicki & Howard and hopefully there will be many many more times. I have no extra words, other than they are simply the best. True 'above and beyond' people. I am only scared to say more because they are that good that they might get so fully booked I can't get them!!
Once again Vicki and Howard went above and beyond looking after Daisy and our home.
I’m certain Daisy has the most wonderful time as they dish out oodles of love and it’s clear her care is their number one priority.
Despite our builder deciding this was the week to do some window frame repair work, as before I’m certain we came back to a cleaner house than we left, (I would say we are pretty ship shape but Vicky leaves everything immaculate!

Vicki & H were just phenomenal all round!
Contact with them prior to the sit was extremely reassuring as this was our first time using a house sitter/dog sitter that was not a family member.
On meeting them, they were both very calming and I left for my holiday feeling reassured and comforted knowing that our precious girl was in good hands. They were both very loving and caring towards our precious boxer, who missed them very much when they left.

These two are incredible. I will happily have them every time I need pet care. They went above and beyond to look after the house and the dogs. What a lovely couple.
Vicki and Howard were absolutely brilliant. The house was spotless: Toffey obviously loved them to bits and I cannot recommend them too highly. You briefly meet these wonderful people who look after your home (and your wilful but very loving Terrier), and then you briefly meet them again when they leave. How can we say “thank you” sufficiently? But “thank you” Vicki and H! Suzy, Roger and Toffey!
We cannot thank Vicki and Howard enough. They looked after our beloved and aged Jack Russell Daisy with so much care. They went above and beyond our expectations. The house was immaculate and Daisy was clearly enjoyed her week with them.
This was our first ever house sit and Vicki’s communication and guidance was super helpful.
Absolutely lovely people to have in our home, we would welcome them again without hesitation.
There is nothing more secure than having people at home while you're away. Get a house sitter.
